I ran the ATS twin on my car with the GReddy TT, never had any issues... You'll get faint chatter from the flywheel (even though I ran the 1350kg), but it's not anything you'd consider anoying IMHO.

With regards to street-ability, it's all about the break-in. You've got to treat this setup nice for a couple thousand miles. Otherwise, it can be painful to drive. And that goes for the twin or triple sets...

I highly recommend the ats twin..I had it on my wrx w/500whp..

It was the best from an engagement standpoint..feels very close to stock..not much stiffer...hard to launch..but its a twin clutch..

Oh and I love the sound of the plates as they clatter !!!!...most dont though..

It will out last your car...its an awesome clutch

When you purchase, it will come as a complete kit, including the throw bearing and new sleeve.
Great info!! Thanks.

You can order any weight flywheel you want. Therer is lightweight, standard, and heavy. If you can wait 5days it can be ordered and you will have it in 5 business days. The only thing that takes extra time is if you get the carbon coated metal option (CCM) which will allow you to hold more torque. You can also get soft, standard, or R comound discs. I would recomend the standard. R-really sucked fro streeet driving. The standard compound is the best in my opinion. You can also choose the stretgnth of the pressure plate. I believe it is 1350 or 1600 kg. The later having more clamping force, and can hold more torque.

There is no "standard" ATS clutch. It is totally customizable to your liking and you should have it within 5 business days except for the CCM option.

+1 right on the money. My triple used to be a PITA but now with nearly 3000 miles its MUCH better. Only time its still finicky and has super quick disengagement is when the car is cold on the first few starts from being stopped. Otherwise its nice. If your chatters a lot at 500 or 1000 miles it will get better...I also highly recommend a SS clutch line and good fluid as that helped considerably with chatter on my car as well.

And the additional performance benefit of the light flywheel and high torque from a boosted motor makes for very big satisfaction.
+1

Prob the best single thing i put on my car. No joke.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago and i have about 500 miles on it. It is breaking in nicely. The pedal presure is a little more firm than stock. I have the 1350 plates. It was pretty difficult to drive (first gear) when i first got it but now it slipps pretty well (all other gears feel like stock). No cement mixer at idle in neutral and very little loud sound under load between 1800 and 2000 rpm.

I like my ATS...

It slips a little easier cold then warm... So if you jump in your car cold, slip it fine to start, and drive to work without changing gears a lot... by the time you get to work... it will be nice and warm and I've stalled it one or two times because it behaves a bit different after its warm.

If you shift a lot, you'll feel it grip up as it warms up and your brain adjusts for it...

But if you start cold, get to speed, warm up and then all the sudden try and stop and go... its STICKY where before it wasn't.... Its a little odd.

(Then again they also tell you to warm it up before dragging.)

Out of curiosity, do any of the owners on this thread drive a 2006 350Z?
