-Garrett GT35R (T4 hotside), tial 44mm wastegate, manifold undecided yet, custom 3.5" exhaust all the way out
-stock intake plenum and ITB's
-random hybrid fuel system consisiting of parts of my AAM fuel system, some CJM components, and other various pieces
-apex'i power fc d-jetro
-custom motor mounts and driveshaft

I can get the power fc d-jetro with commander for $1000, then the datalogit costs $300 or 325.

And about the tools...I agree, I just thought "wow" when I really thought about it though

i looked online and found the Apexi Power FC with Commander for $981. Then you need to add the sensor kit (required for D Jetro) which was $322. The boost control kit was another $350. Thats $1653. Add in the PowerLogit software and thats $1953. I found the AEM EMS for the RB online for $1681 (first place its likely cheaper elsewhere) which includes every item needed (boost control too). It was $1900 for the AEM EMS with boost control etc etc and a UEGO for true target AFR adjustment...Now go buy the AEM EMS already

I have found the PFC w/ D-jetro sensor kit for 1059 and am still using my E-01 for boost control duties for now, so no need for the boost control kit. Then add the $325 for the Datalogit and that is a total of $1400....but if you found the EMS for 1681, maybe I can find it for closer to the $1400...I guess I will investigate further

[Ben Stiller Starsky&Hutch]Do it....do it....[/Ben Stiller]

Besides the E-01 blows for high boost control and its MUCH easier to map boost into your fuel and timing maps....

And I just found the PFC Djetro cheaper....Zexy if you haven't already bought yours.... https://www.rhdjapan.com/shop/cart.p..._detail&p=1487

EDIT: more huge news in the way of the PFC. No need for buying a $325 nz-datalogit system. A guy from germany has been on rx7club.com designing a new (and might I add FREE) version, that is actually much nicer called FC-Tune. Here is a link to the thread on rx7club, talking about it with all the updates...http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.ph...&page=38&pp=15....and here is the link to where the latest update can be downloaded....http://www.fctune.com/download/development/

EDIT 2: looks really nice, but after reading more it seems there isn't support for the RB26..yet

Of course I don't mind....Your engine looks very clean inside. I plan on taking my head off next week and hope I find everything is in similar order.

I see you have a bunch of your parts already (that means you are way ahead of me in this project). I have the gasket set and timing belt only right now. I see the Sard R2D2 blowoff valve, but what is that other Sard box up top? Also, where did you find that sparkplug cover GTR plate? Some of the paint is worn off of mine.

Oh yeah and let me know what color you are painting your valve covers so we don't end up with identicle looking engine bays, lol

Oh and since you guys are pulling them apart....have you considered installing an HKS stroker kit? Everyone keeps saying more displacement, V6, etc. Might be nice to spool a large single turbo with 2.8L instead of 2.6

The Sard box is the Sard Race F.Regulator

Call RB motoring for the ornament plate.

I still have no clue on how i want to paint my covers. I'm browsing pics and forums to get ideas Mines are chipping away too.

Custom steel DS's are around $250-300...aluminum slightly more and CF of course even higher(around $1000)...not too bad in the grand scheme of things.
