I want to be patient, but some kind of time frame would help people who are planning their builds before next season. I know you are getting sick of answering these types of questions over and over again MIA, but if you could, I would really appreciate any kind of time frame...or any update in the products/R&D of the kit.
The R&D staff was doing some final tuning on the current engine management system last week. The big hold up so far has been the engine management. Turbonetics has now tested 5 different systems. I believe they have finally settled on one now and should be wrapping things up pretty soon. The General Manager's car is the test car for this so you better believe he's tired of not driving his car...

guys, chill the eff out on stage 2. EVEN IF it was done by now, it still wouldn't ship until the earliest mid 1st quarter because the GT-Ks aren't even available yet.

and it's NOT done right now, so try not to be so ansy! (I know, I'm anxious too......just chill and wait for the news)

it is, because guys are starting these bullshat threads every 2 days. believe me, if there were such changes within 2 days, they'd be telling us, we wouldn't have to ask them to get a response.

Well, my big deal about it is just hearing some actual peformance news from turbonetics. I can wait 2-3 more month if I have to...only if its worth waiting that long. But if the spool up characteristics/response isnt up to par with the Greddy TT...then I will just sell my TN tuner kit and get the Greddy TT. Also, if TN wont offer a exchange deal for the people who have Stage 1 tuner, and already have their own Fuel system, injectors, EMS, etc...then I might as well go with greddy. Will this news be out this month, or will it be another 2-3 months? Any idea?? Prob not...but doesnt hurt to ask. I understand if no official statistics can be released yet..but if any promising news that this Stage 2 will be worth it compared to a TT kit that can support the same amount of power would be all I need to hold myself down.

As I posted earlier you already have everything set up, if ypu have the $$ just get the Greddy. Sell the injectors and e-manage, you'll win back at least 500$...

Like I said earlier the final tuning was done on the test car last week to my knowledge. They just need to finish up some of the fab work to make the production jigs.

from what I gather, you sent your turbo 1 week after your warranty expired. TN was under NO OBLIGATION to fix your turbo. But they did. And they sent it back to you.

And then you started talking all sorts of smack in the process. You're lucky TN didn't stop the shipment and get the turbo back and send your busted *** turbo right back to you.

There are reasons why the turbos have gone bad for you so many times. And it's not TN's fault, I just think you suck at installs or something.

TN's warranty department is fine if you don't act like a jackass and talk all sorts of smack while trying to get parts fixed, etc.

Just go buy a goddamn twin turbo kit and leave those of us with TN alone. You ***** too much.

actually, Forged Performance did all the recent work on Jet's car. Sharif and his mechanics are pretty familiar with these setups so I wouldn't blame anything on install issues.

Plus, IIRC JET was one of the first (if not the first) to bring the Turbonetics overboost problem to the forefront.....and he didn't ***** about it. He threw down a fair amount of cash to solve it before anyone did....BIG Tial wastegate and custom WG piping.

So, let's stop all the back and forth between you guys....and we'll keep waiting for updates on the Stage 2. It's coming.........

Actually it was Kelly (kcobean). He ended up trying quite a few things but decided to let turbonetics r&d the fix for it. I ended up sending them my topspeed exhaust and they tested and designed the wastegate relocation using it.

Jetpilot addressed it his own way by making his own solution to it rather than waiting for turbonetics to provide one. Not that that is a bad thing, just a more expensive route to take.

you are more up on it as you've had your setup for quite awhile. I just remembered seeing Jet's fix for the overboost issue.

I do believe that Turbonetics is a bit overrated on this forum.. But majority of the people on here has turbonetics for a turbo solution. Anyways, I havn't had any troubles with mine yet except the paper-based filter so I'm loving it

hahaha yah... i replaced that rigth away =]

but in any case, most poeple like then cause it offers an excellent turbo solution for stock block engines at much more competitive prices than twins and they have good customer service reputation....you mostly have (other-single-turbo-brand) turbo haters and retardo-jet-like haters
everybody else likes it

Actually I wasn't talking any **** about TN. I asked 2 questions. One was directed to MIA and the other was in reference to something chimmike wrote. So if you have no idea what your talking about keep your comments to yourself. To be honest if I was banned for what I said then this site is useless and I could careless.

Soooooo many people like the kit vendors can't sell them. The classified section is usually full of Turbonetics junk listed for sale (which takes weeks or months to sell) at stupid low prices just to get them off the floor of peoples garages.

Turbonetics customer service is about unanswered e-mails, and unreturned telephone calls. Not just me.... but I hear this from others as well. It should be called the Turbonetics fan club. If your a fan of Turbonetics then you get minimal service. If your not then you get f*cked. And when you ***** about it you get hated. Well.... I'm not going away. Hate all you want.

Thats interesting considering there are several people here who had the exact opposite experience with Turbonetics customer service. And I don't just mean the "fan boys" as you put it. Furthermore I've asked a few vendors personally how sales were going lately and there doesn't seem to be too many complaints. Most of the used kits don't sell quickly for the same reason ANY used parts don't sell quickly. People want too much for them, buyers want new parts, buyers dont trust sellers...

JET, no offence, but you did throw around an idea of getting a Gallardo some time ago, so $$ should not be a big issue to you. You are close to Sharif location-wise, get a Greddy TT from him and let him loose at the setup and enjoy!
If half of what you're saying is true, then good call on getting their stuff off of your car.
