Default Turbonetic Stage 2 ???

I was waiting for stage 2 but we need to open the block to get forged. We're aiming at 15-20psi and 500-550whp.

Do the stock 60-1 from stage 1 is able to push thoses numbers ??? If not, can I get the new turbo that will be released in Stage 2 WITHOUT buying all the others stuff that goes with it ??

Which turbo you suggest me to push thoses numbers.. Ive tried to find the answer since 3 hr in FI subdirectory without luck...

thanks

from my understanding the t 60 turbo wont be able to push those numbers with out upgrading more parts on the kit...in essence it would be futile to do so since stage 2 is coming out with all the goodies to be able to handle that amount of power...i am not sure what certain kit your looking for but take my advice and jump on the APS TT kit.
I have exp the TN t 60 and trust me you would wish you would have gone with the TT instead
just my 2 cents

Honestly man the wait for stage 2 has become ridicoulous, if your block is opened right now. Sell your kit and get a greddy twin turbo and youll get your numbers. Ive been waiting forever for this and they have failed me. I know stage 2 is gonna be great, but theyre taking way to long and your in the middle of a build. TRUST ME, just get the tt b/c I have a built motor and tried and tried to wait for stage 2 but nothing so yea. Goodluck in your build though, cars gonna be a whole new beast for sure.

damn guys...I feel bad to say this, but I'm almost at the end of my patience with Stage 2. I have come close to selling my TN tuner setup and just going Greddy TT. I am itchin bad for boost, and I plan to start building by next month. When is the damn TN Stage 2 coming? Next month, next 2-3 month, next 4-6 months, next year??? ANYTHING?

No I wont sell the TN kit. Our 350Z is a business demo car and the way the hood is designed we see the turbo with the hood closed. Anyway I want to keep the TN kit.

I dont want the stage 2 goodies, I have a qualified tech that will do all the other stuff, we are going forged.. I just want you to give me maybe one model of turbo that should do the job as a replacement..

Which turbo is suppose to replace the 60-1 in the stage 2..?? Is it available now and its just because they havent made all the others side goodies and tested everything so they are unable to sell it.. but for aftermarket guys that can do everything with nothing, its not a problem. Injector, headers, fuel return system, all thoses things Ill get them by myself its not a problem..

I just didnt see the turbo chart from all TN turbo so I dont know.. I just need a model of turbo that you suggest me...

Garett model ?

Hey what are your dyno #s. I'm going to be building my motor too. Just curious to how much power the kit is making, and if I'll be happy with out going twins. I have close to the same setup in your sig.

The GT-K line of turbos ships the end of this month. As for which one is going to replace the 60-1 in the Stage 1 kit I don't know which one has been decided on. Most likely either a GT-K 550 or GT-K 650....

A GT-K 550 is as close to a direct replacement as you'll get. It uses the new HP61 compressor wheel and a F1 Stage V turbine wheel.

Which one? The GT-K 550 uses a modified version of the Stage 5 turbine wheel. Modified for higher flow potential and extended tip height to decrease spool up times. The F1 Stage 5 should spool up a little quicker than the current Stage 5 you have. The F1 P trim wheel has the same design features but will have even more flow potential. The spool up should be very similar to what you have now.

Just what I wanted to hear. You say just about a direect replacement. What does the "just about" mean.
