Default Paint comeing off of half shaft!

The paint on the drivers side 1/2 shaft is peeling off, the pass. side is fine.
These are the stock shafts, is this from added stress from hp, Does anyone know if the paint peels before they fail?

Stress isnt going to cause paint to peel. Heat will if its near a brg/univ/CV that is fixin to launch but by that time ud hear and feel it.

I think just chalk it up to a robotic paint applicator on an off day
