Most people who shoot for this type of power slowly graduate up to it and most likely know enough about the car not to ask such a generalized question such as this.
Anyways, I have done research on this site, along with extensive research on other sites and have talked to several pro tuners on this subject. But I am always hearing problems with the VQ when it goes above 600rwhp, so it gives me a shadow of a dought if I can even reach that amount of rwhp.

I see alot of talking and bragging in this thread and a distinct lack of actual information or knowledge. "I was thinking trowing X, Y and Z parts at my car would get me 800hp. wat do u think?"
If you have to ask simpleton questions like "what would it take to get 800hp" you do not have what it takes to think it through on your own. Better take your 3000 euro/week salary and go talk to the plethora of "pro tuners" you have at your disposal and write them your blank check and tell them to call you in a few weeks when your 800hp car is ready to be picked up.

I honeslty don't see the Z being a good platform for such high HP unless you're drag racing or just wanna be a dyno queen.
Judging by my research alone and just reading up on a lot of guys experiences here, 500-550 rwhp seems to be the upper echelon when it comes to this cars all around "sweet spot". When I say that I mean that from every perspective, from generating and utilizing that kind of power to the financial investment to get it there. This is strictly my opinion and nothing against the fellas running more than this. That's their forte
My apology because I know this does not address your question at hand, but I'd seriously consider another platfrom when going this high up on the rwhp ladder.

Honestly, I think you're kinda missing the point of everyones post. You clearly stated that you have the funds to go through with this but it may not necessarily be a wise financial investment. I think that's what these guys are getting at. Especially when you'll be happier with another platform that's better suited for this level of power.

but f--k it. i am guilty as charged.
OK if your really serious about the car as we all here I think you best should talk GTM have them build you a crazy 4.2 motor. By asking us here I am assuming that in Berlin there are not many 350Z tuners so you may want to get the car shipped to the US were there are several experienced shops.
