No Traction!!!!!!!!
Another famous grippy tire brand is Yokohama's Advan. This tire is famous among drifters in japan.. It kind of sounds like an oxymoron putting grippy tire and drifting together... but apparently drifting in grippy tires give drivers the control of how much they want to slide and an ability to correct errors in a split second...

i used to think the same. "how cool would it be to have so much power u can spin ur tires whenever u want". but once u get it, its ur worst nightmare i hate it
yeah it just leaves you not sure if you can floor the gas or not cause the instant traction is lost and the engine tries to shoot towards redline in revs, you gotta get off the gas

KDW2's are nice tires. With 400whp/tq to the wheels and -2.0 degrees rear camber I hooked up from 1st with 285's. OP-I suggest getting some SPC camber rods and eccentric toe bolts, re-doing the alignment(try to run as little negative camber as possible) and seeing how it works out for you. While you have to get used to launching in 1st gear with the power you should have no issues with the above mentioned combo. Good luck to you.
thanks, i jsut ordered my camber kit today, im doing some research right now on different pumpkins see if that effects anything or if i should change mine i dont know anything about that
yet lol.
yet lol.
A 3.3FD (auto Z) would make your gears longer and not multiply TQ as much as the 3.5 now. While it would likely make it easier for you to hook up I dont feel for your kit (powerful but not crazy) that it would be ideal in dealingwith traction. Post up before/after alignment specs when you have them I think that will make a big difference for you.
I am very sorry for taking the thread off topic. I also do not want to turn this into a flame war, so please behave.
If the single turbo people are having so much traction issues in the first 2 gears, what is the practical advantage of running twins on stock motors with non-drag tyres?
I am just curious, no plans to do anything like that to my Z.
