Default TopSpeed Exhaust w/turbo

I was just wondering if anyone is running a single turbo kit, either turbonetics or aps with the topspeed exhaust. Ive heard several clips of the topspeed exhuast with boltons, but i was wondering if it is just as loud if u run a turbo..

The TopSpeed is quieter with the turbo, but still loud. The tone changes as well. It doesn't sound as good as it does without the turbo. The high frequency is cut off quite a bit.

Its loud. But its exotic. If you can live with drone get it. If not then I recommend apexi ws2. Ill take sound clips if I can later. I need someone to record me drive-by

aight bro, not trying to be mean or anything but you def shoudl ahve used a search on this one.. there are tons of info on this as it has been asked many times.
I believe Jet had that exhaust for quit a bit and can give you good information on its quality

from what i hear its an excellent exhaust FI =] with nice finish and good quality on the welds
and as said..yes the exhaust is loud and gets rasp but if you are turboed, the exhaust will sound a lil more quiet and deeper... definantly a much much better sound.

quick.. I actually tried searching, i couldnt find any sound clips nor video clips on this. I found a bunch with just the exhaust. I know adding a turbo into the mix of things will quiet down the exhaust a little,, i just wanted to know how much it did.

jet & solid.. thanks for the info. clips would be excellent. Are you still able to hear the turbo spool with it being as loud as it is? Or does the exhaust just drone that out? I know that on certain turboed cars & trucks, higher flowing exhausts actually accentuate the sound of the turbo spooling. ..just wondering if this is the case with this exhaust.

Turbo spool is still loud as ever. Wish I had a vented hood to increase the noise. I love that BOV. Get the exhaust, you will love it.

Im interested in this as well. I have read the past posts on this topic, but nothing really that informative or sound clips. I would love to hear a sound clip of the Pro 1 exhaust on TN kit. I currently have the HKS ti TD, but ive decided to change to something a bit louder since the HKS isnt all that loud to begin with, and it will tone down even more with turbo. I love the tone of the Pro-1 in the video with the blue Z.

SolidSnake - if you can get any videos of drive by's that would be GREAT! Maybe something similar to the TS Pro1 blue Z video. I really think im goin with this exhaust but I want to make sure it still retains the signature Z gurgle somewhat with the TN kit. Also, is it still rediculously loud in the cabin with your setup? Can you talk to other people, or on the phone fine?

top speed is loud, even with a turbo. Topspeed is actually down the street from me, topspeed is like a APC, they make a china copy of everything, and sell for cheap, i forgot what exhaust they copied for this one, but its loud.

I used to have the exhaust but took it off before the turbo install. A local guy is running it with the Turbonetics kit and I think it actually sounds better with the turbo.

So, RSR, Invidia N1, Topspeed Pro1, Apexi N1, and PIT exhaust all are the same design...except piping diameters, correct? Is Topspeed the only one that comes in 3"?

With all info gatthered, this topspeed exhaust seems to be pretty good for a turbo setup on limited funds. I actually like really loud exhausts, if i can hear it, i know the exhaust is flowing.

Thank you. It does sound really nice.

1st exhaust: HKS 3" single, Carbon TI.
Impression: Loved the look and sounded insane but got sick of the single outlet.

2nd exhaust: Apexi N1. HATED the way it looked but it was so quiet. I loved being able to hear my radio. HAHA

3rd exhaust: Topspeed pro1. Love the look, sound and performance of this one. I only got it because a local seller had it for a low low price of 100 bucks. Cant beat that. Im going to stick with this exhaust for a while. i like to scare kids when I drive by. HAHA

NICE clips Solid! I cant thank you enough for taking those clips for us..it has greatly helped my decisions! It really doesnt sound as loud in those clips. I'd hate to ask, but if you can in your free time make some more clips. I would really like to hear how it sounds just reving, and also some drive bys at higher RPM levels. It does seem like it looses the wide tone range it used to have(from what Ive hear on N/a), but I cant tell if its the turbo or just the clips...what rpm level did you get up to in the 2nd clip?

Btw, I have looked into a few singles..JIC, Agency Power, and the HKS cabon Ti. Did you have the HKS single when you were n/a or turbo? you got any clips

I really love my HKS TD, but I really didnt want to spend more money on this exhaust for the rev Y. Plus, after hearing your clips, it seems like the HKS will quiet down too much for my taste. When Im out on the track with my helmet on, I need to hear my exhaust I honestly think my current exhaust will be to quiet.
