I think I'd be more worried about surge than leaking... but I don't know.

taurran sorry i didnt clarify the reason of the question...
i have an evo...aps sells the same blow off valve used in the 350z APS TT kit for the evos...but i was wondering if it has the same spring inside..since the APS TT is suppose to run 8~11 psi out of the box whereis an evo usually runs 18+ lbs of boost..
so the point is if i am running ~23psi...do you think the aps will hold that much?? coz i have had some bad experiences with others BOVs...

thanks

The APS BOV are top of the line. HIGHLY respected for applications they are made for. No worries at those boost levels. My local buddy runs a GT30 series turbo at 32+ lbs on his STI (mustang dyno'd at 470 awhp) without issue with the APS BOV.

Talk about a sweet sound when that thing opens at those high boost levels.

It sounds nothing like on the Z. It is just a mad rush of air. Not high pitched at all like the bird sqwauker (SSQV).

This spring I will get some vids with his setup.
