Default vortech pulley change

Going from 3.12 to 2.87 tomorrow.

Same belt size can be used correct??

I have TWO main questions

1) Can someone Show me a diagram or a HOW TO or tell me of removing the 3.12 and installing a new pulley?

2) Can someone show me or tell me how to tighten or loosen the belt?

I'd like to do this tomorrow, please someone chip in

You cannot use the same belt. To loosen the main belt loosen the tensioner on the pass. side. You'll have to do it from under the car. You'll need a 12mm and an extension. Also need a 14mm to loosen the bolt that holds the pulley on. Don't take it all the way off, just loosen it a little. I also think you need to pull the blower and bracket off to swap pullies. IIRC.

look it up in the manual or do some searching here . Go to Napa and ask for a 93 inch serp belt
actually..lift your hood up and look at the pic that shows the belt routing . That should show you where to losen it up at .

my bad, I guess there's enough adjustment to cover the difference in the tensioner.

I have the stock setup that comes with the vortech. I am going from the 3.3 to the 2.87. What issues will I have and what should I change besides the belt. A 93 I gather. Thanks.
