I've read about APS external wastegate for their TT system in a few posts already. Anymore information on that? Is this on the market yet? Is this supposed to be a direct retrofit for the traditional internal wastegates. How would it work?

APS is not making external wastegates for the TT. What you've been reading about is an external wastegate for the ST. For the TT, you'd need new manifolds and new exhaust housings on the turbos (or weld the gates shut) to utilize external wastegates.

 

The Extreme Kit comes with external wastegates. It uses a T25 internally gated GT28 hybrid but with the internal gate welded closed. There has been some discussion that the new standard kits (internal wastegate turbos) come with block off plates on the manifold so external gates could be added but are not included (I have not seen a new kit recently so I can't confirm).
