Default MI Forced Induction Thread... Turbonetics

As a long time lurking memeber and fan-boy of the Forced Induction Forum, I have seen everyones thread come through here on talking about their current project. It is my time to Finally just sigh and have my own FI thread.

Thanks so far go out to:
Six3Mike, without whom I wouldnt have a kit to speak of.

Wright Tuning, Has kept my car up 100% shape all the time. I have them to thank to date for all of my current mods... They used to be 350Evo.

Zerolift Autolab, Cincinnati Shop who has been a great help thus far since their main tech is my best friend.

Sharif@Forged, JWT Combo... Soon to be more stuff
Sandy@Forged , Shes so patient, getting the order out and eveything on a last minute basis.

MIAPLAYA, answering my countless questions... YES they were countless... almost NEWB like. He was always able to come back and help me out.

Alberto, He was the deciding factor on the Turbonetics kit...

Jetpilot, Id like to thank him for the Wastegate Setup

Kenk2, Hooking me up with that map sensor

Greg @ Gspec for the replacing my stolen piping for me at a great price.

The list goes on but I will start with parts I have acrued recently and get any suggestions.

MY GOALS:
390-400 WHP RELIABLE DAILY DRIVEN BOOST.
I am not looking for crazy power, more or less just more power at a safe reliable level.

RC 440CC
TN KIT Tuner
Custom 3" Single Exhaust - installed
Greddy RS BOV

NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
Utec with map switch - installed
All -An fittings needed
48mm Turbo Smart Dumped WG Setup

Missing:
Wideband
20 w 50 Motul
Fuel Return

Anywho, I will take tons of pictures and lots of documentation, As soon as the TN kit arrives from Conn. I will snap off a few pics.

I am going to post an Install pics and then tuning ending with the finished project and dyno.

***Update with pics of stuff coming in.

I am going to use the mod where I put a pinhole in the fuel pump holder, that should take care of it right?

I would say you need to drill out both the stock FPR and the little yellow piece in there. The name escapes me now. phunk where are you?

I have been reading that people continue to have trouble even after doing that. I want to do a Walbro and 440s as well, but am troubled with possibly having this issue.

No the part that people have trouble with was drilling the surge tank. Modifying the fuel pressure regulator and little yellow piece (dammit still can't think of the name) hasn't caused anyone any issues...

I may have to go with fuel return system before the day is over but I am not sure, I have to do a lil more research on the fuel pressure issue.

With the stock FPR modified and the stock siphon jet I believe it is (yellow piece) modified your fuel pressure will be 53-55 PSI at adle. Under full boost (8 PSI) I don't see below 48 PSI of fuel pressure...

There are detailed pics and instructions of modifying the stock FPR in the Turbonetics install guide yes. The siphon jet is removed in that guide though. I think phunk posted what needed to be done to that in another thread if you can dig it up. Heres the Turbonetics install guide for the stock FPR part...
