If you did swap to an M90, you'd need to get your car retuned correctly. I'm assuming Stillen had problems not with swapping the physical blower itself, but possibly with setting up a reliable SS box?

In any case, like everyone said, the Stillen is silent at idle. The blower operates silently. You hear it a bit as the revs climb, and it's super loud at WOT.

 

Not going to get into detail again, but I have tried all sorts of sc stuff. I have exhausted alot of options. The M90 does not work on the VQ35 that well, it would require a built motor, it takes too much power away from the motor to run it, and it is not very efficient. I scrapped the M90 350Z project for the same reason as Stillen, not practicle and, BTW, it IS not a direct bolt on replacment for the M62. I am working on a great SC system along these lines right now....... more info soon................

true and not true. when stopped idle u can sometimes here the s\c belt squeel a bit. and i know i'm not the only one who has experienced it. but man when u open her up it's obnoxious, and i love it

 

My buddy took a couple vids of my G35c on the dyno last week, and uploaded them to YouTube. His little point/shoot digicam doesn't do the sound justice at all, especially the way it reverebated around inside the shop.
