Default Catalog says Vortech is only for 6sp. Is this true?

I was just checking out a stillen catalog that i got in the mail and I was looking at the vortech supercharger in there. It said that it was only for 6 speeds but I know I heard people on here talk about having it on an AT. Whats the deal with this?

Thats what I thought they must be saying that because the AT must have slippage issues with it or something? think thats it?

Stillen TD exhaust, Plenum Spacer, HFC's, Raised rev limiter, and a good UTEC tune from Shariff

I called vortech up and they told me that it runs fine on a 5AT, but when driving it hard they suggest tiptronic mode b/c the auto would'nt shift fast enough.

-What whp do most people get with this kit and what is suggested to run it safe besides a good install/tune up? Is stock engine/exhaust fine + new spark plugs or are more mods suggested to run reliable? -thanks

SungNamz; i also have an '03 auto touring : I'm really pondering the vortech kit for my car - do your other mods help the kit run more reliable or increase output (if so, how much)?
thanks , and sorry Dan for hogging part of your thread; hungry for info.
