if you can stand to raise the idle, the vortech won't rattle

especially if you use a smaller pulley

go with vortech or procharger if you are thinking of boosting via superchargers. I am yet to see a stage 2 stillen make good power.

yeah I'm really leaning towards vortech now. I'm either gonna have to build or lower my rev limiter though since i had the AAM reflash. Do the stock AT's have any problems with baseline vortech power output?

stock auto transmission is fine. Many people get by in Drive mode, but most prefer manual mode and shift 500 rpms before redline so that the transmission will actually shift at redline. Otherwise there's ways to upgrade the auto transmission to handle a little more power and shift faster

in manual mode, where your rev limiter is set doesn't matter if you shift at the rpm you want to

you DO NOT have to build the engine for a base or near base vortech install. It never hurts to, but most people don't because so few people have hurt their engine with the vortech
