Default Alrihgt Guys I'm new to my car and i can not tune worth crap and i'm scared......lol

Alright i just bought my car not too long ago and never had a forced induction car with all this stuff to keep up with. I only know minimal things about engins and i sure don't want to hurt my expensive car when it's not even payed off ya know. Ok so here it is.....I have a 03 Z with a procharger c-2 set up, with larger fuel injectors, full stillen exaust up to headers, no cats just test pipes. A plenum spacer, greddy e-manage blue, fuel pressure regulator. Ok so my car is not! fast its slower than stock seriously i have raced stock 350z's. So the guy told me when i bought it he had it tunned when he put everything on it but he tunned it down what the f? It fuel cuts at like 5 grand and shouldn't it be spitting out black smoke if there is no cats on it if it is running nice? It's like it's not getting enough fuel right? idk? i know i need to drive down to sgp but i have to get money first is my car going to make it that long? i hope it's not lean.? please help. guys

4 suggestions:

1st: Do not drive the car hard
2nd: Drive to nearest reputable tuner to get retuned
3rd: Buy some other ecu mgmt (utec, emanage ultimate, something)
4th: Beat the $h!t out of the guy who sold you the car!!!!!

Drive the car directly to the nearest rep. tuner. Don't get on it. Throw the Emanage blue away and get something else. Get a return fuel system if you don't already have one. Have it retuned with new engine management.

You shouldn't even be trying to race right now. Your wories should be much higher than trying to beat a Mustang(like rebuilding the entire engine especially if you don't have the funds) You basically have a ticking time bomb. God knows what damage the car's engine already has. We aren't telling you this to be asses...we just have a lot of experience with these kinds of situations

I agree with the person above who said find the guy who sold you the car and kick his a$$. For all we know he sold you the car bc something was already wrong with it.

He probably sold you a car that was already having problems. Next time dont be so ignorant as to buy something you dont understand anything about. The cost of the rebuild should help to remind you of that .

Its simple to get 450 to the wheels? Run a procharger without a tune...

Dude...stop with the whole black smoke thing. Tuners don't look at smoke at a means of tuning a car. Just do like EVERYONE else has told you and get it to a good tuner in your area who is both familiar with the Z AND forced induction. You could have a few problems that are combining to create what is happening with your car. Also, please don't compare the cost or the engine of your previous Honda to the Z. They are in totally different worlds.
