Nexx you are right about uprev...they are very very knowledgeable. The only ones on the boards that I know of that has used them are solidsnake and I think I can say this for the both of us, we would definately go there again if we could do it over

From what I understand it was a combination of machine shop time, and parts availability.

This is what I am gettting:

** LONGBLOCK Packages **

Basic Long Block: $6350 + $3500 core - Good up to 600 Rwhp
**This core charge is charged when shipping an upgraded block to you before you return your block. The core charge will be refunded once a rebuildable core is returned to us. Must include a usable Block, Crank & Main Girdle.**

Block oil passages cleaned
Block redecked
Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate
Crank balanced
Crank journals polished
*CARRILLO Forged rods
ARP Rod Studs
New bearing and rings
*CP Forged Pistons .020 over(8.5:1 or 11.5:1)
Heads oil passages cleaned
Heads redecked
3 angle valve job
Valve Stem Heights set
Cold Clearance set
New Valve stem seals
HKS Metal Head Gaskets

I was running a Greddy TT on a stock block at 5.6 PSI. I got about 100k miles on the kit before my engine gave out. I will transfer the TT kit to this long block and it should be good for 500 rwhp.

If it makes you feel any better....I have spent roughly $3000-4000 with SGP so far and committed to roughly $25k more.

+1 on uprev's ecu tunes. Phil said it was night and day compared to his reflash from TS. Similar characteristcs as the UTEC in terms of tuning, maps, and adjustments. Anyone know what they charge just to hook up my ECU to take the governor (speed limiter) off? Anyone know the resolution of the stock ECU?

SGP and Mark are +++ in my book , I have spent over $30,000 on mods over about 3 years and I believe the pricing has been fair , if you have used a dealer before SGP pricing is better , the workmanship excellent and are willing to stand behind their service. Mark needs to clone himself so he could talk on the phone all day answering calls , have a second Mark to run his business and a third Mark to tune cars and maybe a fourth to develop new products.

I'll never understand how he keeps up with everything , yet, he will remember your car and what was done to it.

I have gotten frustrated waiting to get my car back sometime but usually a good reason --mainly trying to finish up someone else's car or waiting on a part.

SGP has a complete and unqualified recommendation from me.
