Default AT and Twin Turbos

Hello my fellow 350Z enthusiasts.

I just bought my 2006 350Z Roadster with AT a few weeks ago.
Like anyone of you guys, I would like to get some more ponies.
I have installed a cold air intake and replaced the exhaust system
with a performance exhaust.

I have been speaking to Stillen Motorsportsregarding their stage 2 super charger, and I am finding the cost of the supercharger, new tower strut, and a new hood + paint to be a little bit too costly for minimal horse power gain.

Is there anybody out there that has a Twin Turbo 350Z with an automatic transmission? Were there any any special modifications needed?

Im also looking for shop in So Cal who does TT installation and other engine mods.

Please advise.

Thank you

There are quite a few 5At Z's that are members on this site and when it comes to S/C I believe most went with Vortech and as for Turbos either single or twin turbos pending on your budget and HP goals.I hope this thread doesn't turn into a big debate over what turbo system is better.I went with APS TT and am very happy with it.Strongly recommend a valve body upgrade and tranny cooler if your going TT.Also look into a 3" dual exhaust.Hope this helps you get started....

Like coachk said, plenty of TT Zs with 5AT and you should upgrade the valve body, torque converter and add another tranny cooler.

FWIW, HPP racing is in a process of building a 5AT Z w/the APS Extreme...
They are doing a bunch of stuff with their tranny.
