Again, if you have a built short block it is more than just swapping accessories, you have to swap the heads, timing chain and covers (A million bolts), the upper and lower oil pans plus harness and all of the other little **** there is so there is a lot more labor and parts as you would need the Nissan gasket kit, headgaskets........

It is better to educate yourself on the subject before asking so you know what the answers of cost mean, If you have a complete longblock minus accessories (ac, ps pump .....) the cost of installing it with a TT kit will be close the cost of a Twin Turbo Kit install just some labor to swap accessories, if you have a bare built short block you are probably looking at about 1500-2000 extra to swap everything and parts needed.

And always look for value not price, it would not be much consolation if you save 500 bucks for the work if you are going to have problems or spend more to have another shop fix problems.

 

I think I understand your question. If you are doing a forged buildup, and installing a TT kit from scratch, there is some small labor savings involved. As others have mentioned, most shops will pull the engine and trans completely, and bolt the turbo kit completely onto the engine, and then reinstall the engine.

Installing an Pauter/Arias forged shortblock, and swapping everything, including seals and misc OEM nissan parts is roughly $6500-$7000 including "reinstalling" a turbo kit. Reinstalling a turbo kit is much much less expensive than installing one from scratch.
