Anyone out there with an ATI procharger try changing the oil by themselves? I ran into the problem where one of the intake pipes is too close to the supercharger so that I can't get a wrench on the drain plug and without taking the whole bracket and unit apart I won't be able to drain the oil that way. Also, I tried using the tool that ATI sent me, (glorified syringe with some tubing attached to it) to draw the oil out from the top. Apparently the tube won't go down far enough and get stuck on something so that way doesn't work either. Anyone else have any luck with the 2nd method? Would it help to warm up the supercharger first. Comments anyone?

ah, nice to meet you on here. passing on info, Capitol Raceway next sunday, March 4th. bring the Z! (and you might need to bring a helmet if you plan on running faster than 14.00) (if you are stock, might not need a helmet, they tend to run 14.10-14.50)
There is a guy on 350zfrenzy.com by the name of Dr. Bonz (i think, has a beautiful brickyard/purple Z) who documents with pictures different methods of changing the procharger's oil.

Bro I have your solution!!!!!!!!! Please listen carefully!!!
1. Take your ATI syringe and get your scissors.
2. Take your scissors and cut the syring hose end in a sharp angle.
3. Put some oil on the end or outside the syringe to slip down into the supercharger easier.
4. Slip it in like having sex and push really hard and down.. You are now a glorified oil changing expert!!

I am about to change mine too for the first time. Unfortunately i don't have this uber sex syringe yall speak of, so i will have to improvise. Or just take the mother apart!
I use a loong extension and a wobble socket, and get underneath the car and can get to it very easy. I can change the oil in 10 min now. My cousin showed me that trick.
