First of all, i would never get a stillen supercharger purely on the fact that you have to change your hood.
Secondly, why does everyone say HKS is overpriced? A vortech unit costs around 5 grand, and the HKS unit when it was around cost around 5 grand aswell. Yes, the vortech kit produces 340 whp out of the box compared to the 315 the HKS one made, but the vortech unit was also running the stock fuel system to nearly it's maximum capacity. The HKS unit comes with better fuelling, and a better management, and a separate oil cooler for the turbine oil. Like you guys said, it comes with a very conservative tune, so i'll bet it's got more room for improvement when properly tuned.
Like i said before, i like both the superchargers, but if HKS make a more reliable unit, for the sake of 25 horsepower, and saving my engine, then by all means i'll take the HKS unit.
Anyway, back to the point, does anyone know release dates?

Why does everyone insist on stating that the HKS supercharger more reliable? It was pulled from the market because of a product defect!
However, I do hope for HKS to produce another, more reliable supercharger kit here. Although it doesn't have the highest "peak" horsepower numbers, it did seem to have one of the better powerbands.

The product was not pulled because of this. If you purchased the HKS SC and were a registered buyer they sent you a safety recall notice and sent you a new idler pulley free of charge. The bolt in the idler pulley was too short and the new one had a longer bolt. This had nothing to do with the rotrex SC.

.

From what I know is that the SC will not be sold in the US as it is Japan only. Something to do with the licence agreement with rotrex. ie: HKS Japan will not export the kit to the US.
Don't hold me to this though
