It may not have spun a bearing, could just be a really f'd rod (or rods?). I'm not savvy enough to tear it down; I imagine it's still viable as a core for an exchange. I'll certainly let everyone know once I've crunched the numbers...

A spun bearing will then give you low oil pressure, but its not always because you had low oil that you spun a bearing.
Good luck on the motor situation. It would be cool to see someone build a motor with a ST setup. 500whp and even more torque would be cool to see and Im sure make for one fun car for you. Not that 450whp was not fun or anything!!!

New motor from Todd @ BuiltZMotors expected to ship out by early next week; guess I should get off my duff and prepare for the new arrival:
Pistons – Arias Extreme Duty 9:1 CR
Rods - Eagle Rods
ARP Main and ½" Head studs
New OEM overhaul gaskets
Headgaskets: HKS metal
Rear main seal
Main bearings
Rod bearings
Thrust washers
Machine block (with use of torque plates)
Balancing
Polish crank
Redeck heads and block
Rev-up oil pump
Cams - stock
Valves - stock
5 angle valve job (3 on the valve seats, 2 on the valves)
Springs - stock
Timed, with front and rear timing cover installed
Head assembly- rebuilt with new valve stem seals
With the external WG, UTEC, water/alchy injection, JWT clutch... wondering what I can max this thing out at...?

Hey Don... Can you PM me on the cost of that set up plz? I am starting to research building my motor actually... I want to see what I can get my Vortech up to... If I can keep the belt from slipping at higher boost.
I just ordered my meth / water injection kit today.
Thanks man.
