haha noah, my buddy josh, actually the guy i bought my new car from, just got his FD from hinson, hinson is just a little north of me, his FD is pretty sick, of course his entire setup cost well over 20K, just for the motor swap. but hes got an NA 450whp fd that hauls major ***, and hes about to put a BIG shot of the juice on it.
sounds like you have some nice plans in order, good luck with it. and i didnt mean it was JWTs fault, i just meant it was the first car i could remember blowing "with" a JWT kit installed.

I've played w/ the whole LS1 LS7 idea and all these ricers tell me it's retarded and stay "true to JDM!" I'm glad you're trying something different because I'd honestly like to know if this would fit and if they could fabricate a kit that would make an LS1 fit in the Z. Next thing to worry about: Weight Distribution!

Hey Noah,
Sorry to hear about your engine but glad to hear about the LS1 swap . you can even get the LS1 stroker kit they love SC maybe a roots type? If you get the LS1 get the LS6 heads they are cheap and breath better. I beleve the block might even be lighter then the current 3.5L nissan unit. STS Makes a turbo kit for the LS1. But I would put a polished maggnuson on that bad boy and call it a day. But if you have to go Twin Turbo you have got to get lingenfelter!

i'm used to being a bastard child.....these are my plans but nothing is 100% yet.....I am also toying with the idea of returning it completely to stock, parting it out and using the money to buy a house(but who wants to do the right thing anyway?!?).....and to all of those who tell me i'm not "JDM" anymore.....SUCK MY *****!!!!!

Yes Shariff.....most likely my car was low on oil....rod bearing spun causing the clutch to stick....i was joking saying ATS blew my engine....but the fact that it held up better than my crank....ATS FTW!!!!
