We are in the process of building a twin intake plenum for my Z. It will utilize twin fly-by-wire throttlebodies and twin MAF sensors as well as twin Blow-off valves. The intercooler will be revised so it has twin inlets and twin outlets. We also are building a billet coolant resivoir and power steering resivoir. We will be bringing the car to the Stillen event in May for those that want to see it. This will be the trickest Z engine compartment that anyone has ever seen
Unfortunately, the car will be running on the stock motor for now............
We figured out the electronics and had a custom MAF convertor made that combines the twin MAF signals into one signal the ECU can read. The second TB motor just slaves off the primary TB motor and the primary TB signal is still used by the ECU

Cool.Stillen is pretty big and getting bigger.Missed it last year. We are trying to get one of our cars finished so we can break their dyno! LOL.

Yes.

Yes we can.You would need one of our intercoolers though since the intercooler will have twin inlets and twin outlets. You might actually have one of ours that we can modify. Not sure unless I seen it. VRT bought a few from us for some of their projects.

On an N/A car we have seen 25ft/lbs of torque increase at the wheels and the horsepower was like 10 or so. Testing done by a customer of ours running a pretty massive exhaust and testpipes which was probably not the best set-up for an N/A car. We have an FI car that we will be strapping back to the dyno in the next week or two and see what gains it makes with the plenum. This other version of the plenum for my car will have the Twin Tb's,twin MAFs,Twin Blow-offs,twin piping, twin outlets on the intercooler,etc.....so we dont know what the hell it will do but it is going to look *****en. LOL. Seriously though, this set-up is for guys that want to make in excess of 800-850WHP.We beleive that the single stock TB will be a restiction on airflow at these power levels and an easy way around it is to run two of them.My car is just being used as the prototype so can get get everything sorted out.

Thought about it but there is not enough clearance unless you want to have a custom hood make and relocate alot of things.Another thing about ITB's is that most people upgrade to a single TB when they are trying to make huge power. That is what the goal is.Maybe someday the ITB intake will be something we pursue but for now we are going to go with this.

Dont go rushing to leave work just yet! We are building stuff rapidly but we wont have anything solid till the end of next week. That is when it will all start to come together
