Tell Jotech to call SplitSecond and they will walk them through it
Jotech did call split second and told them that all the settings are wrong, split second did walk them through adjusting the settings. Jotech also downloaded the software that day. They said they have worked on the SS box before, so who knows what happend. Hopefully it is actually a good box and SGP can fix this problem. Vortech said the settings reset everytime you plug into the box and you have to go back and reset everything.

Vortech said the recalibration for the 440cc injectors for the Vortech FMU is the 12 to 1 kit.

I sure hope you are wrong on the FMU . The 03-04 kits had a 8 to 1 FMU and after that they went to a 6 to 1 . A 12 to 1 would be wayyyyy to much fuel preasure . Did you mean 2 to 1 ?

The CJ Racing fuel return system is highly regarded.

Take the Vortech FMU out. With the return fuel system and 440's there is no need for it. Also make sure to get a Walboro 255.

I have a Walbro 255, will then be self installing fuel return kit, 440cc injectors and 3.12 pulley while the ecu is being flashed at AAM then taking it to SGP so they can tune the SS Box.

Why would you want to flash the ECU and then tune the SS box?

he was having trouble scaling his injectors with the SS box

I can attest to the car starting and idling LOTS better with the ECU flashed for the larger injectors

Why not skip the flash and ditch the SS box for a UTEC so the fuel and timing can be tuned?

At this point I would rather have a Fuel return system & still use the ss box if its good and have that tuned. Which im thinking it was good all along.

Are you buying the pulley and cog belt from Vortech? I didn't see any 3.12 on their site. Is this 28,30,32 tooth? I'm assuming 34 is original. Thanks in advance. I need more power.

I bought my 3.12 pulley from Vortech. It's a 6 rib pulley. I bought the Gates cog belt from www.motionindustries.com for about $20.

You're not changing the toothed pulley on the back of the supercharger?

No, the pulley you change is the 6 ribed pulley on the front of the jackshaft. And in that case, you need a shorter serpentine belt.

I get it now. What size serpentine for the 3.12 pulley? You said you bought another cog belt from Motion. Why? I have two spares of those too. Paid 45$ each.

And if you do what is suggested here be prepared for about an 80 psi fuel pressure level (at idle and non boosted) or make the mod's called out in the Turbonetics install manual on the walbro and also the mode to the swirl jet that Phunk suggests to get the press down to around 50psi. Need this MOD even if you remove the FMU and Aux fuel pump..Hope this helps.

We really shouldn't be jacking the OP's thread, but you need a 93 inch belt for the 3.12 pulley. You'll need a retune also.

I bought a cog belt because mine broke. I got it from motion industries because they were inexpensive for the same Gates cog belt that comes with the kit. I got two belts for about $35. Superchargersonline.com had them for $39 each plus shipping.
