Mrev 2, 5/16 iso ple.spacer from motordyne, jwt cams for the rev-up, lighten pulley kit, uni chip,dc headers.jwt pop charger... i know that the headers, pop charger, and uni chip is going to be replaced for the Aps kit.. but my question...? has ne one else with a rev-up F.I. their Z with the Aps tt kit.. and what kinda of power gains did u recieve, and how your daily driving is.... have you had any major problems after installing the kit, and how u feel about your results.. questions questions.. lol.. i'm just really excited for the next couple wks.. till i join the F.I. status and hopefully da low 12s or high 11s club....

Sounds like some more research is needed before doing this.

What should you expect? To spend lots of money for 1. 2, if done right, expect to have one fast @ss ride with many sleepless nights

Expect a blown engine and plenty of headaches... unless you do your homework.

yeps, unless you have the $$ to A) build a bulletproof engine and B) to fix it if anything goes wrong.

people , not all, sometimes go FI without looking at the big picture. basically you have a clock counting down until something happens. the more research = less headaches and surprises.

my rant
love to go FI but don't want to deal with the issues

FI is Russian Roulette and no motor is bulletproof

I'll tell you what, you take your time, do everything the correct way, you shouldnt have any issues.. You have to take the proper steps in order to have a safe vehicle. If you try to do it half-a$$, you WILL have a ticking timebomb like everyone here is saying..

I wouldnt say russian roulette.. If all goes well, take your time and do it right, I would say its more like poker

1. You could very easily find your answers with a simple search
2. I made that much easier to read
3. Who is doing the install?
4. Your forgetting gauges(boost and A/F at the very minimum)
5. Make sure your 06 does not have oil consumption or you will have a short lived FI experience

There is a lot more to be said and I mean a lot but as stated earlier you need to spend some more time researching the FI part of the forum.

all your questions you should probably already know before spending the cash on a kit. If you don't know some basic things like what power level to expect, then how are you going to be able to maintain and at least have a vague idea of how to troubleshoot the car with what might be wrong should something unexpected happen?

okay... with all that being said... i understand the extra headeache that comes with F.I. and my future plans are to stroke the motor and build it up for the F.I. kit.. i didnt want to do eveything at once and get bored wit the car cause i cant do much more after building.. i just dont know how the reliability of the car will hold up for daily driving.. Plus i think i'm in really good hands... cause ZCG has been the only ones to touch my car and their doing the work...

I've got an 06 with the APS TT. Very happy with the kit. The car runs perfect and has plenty of power. I'm running on the out-of-box tune at 10psi. Most ppl say that's nuts but I'm running 94 octane on the 91 map and A/F is very rich at around 10.5 at WOT. I've put over 5k miles on it with zero problems. If you have a Unichip tuner near you then absolutely get it tuned. A good tune will make more power and be safer than the generic tune.
