Default Greddy Turbo Timer and P0300 DTC

Here is a new one for ya... Tried searching the forum and could not find anything.

I installed a Greddy Turbo Timer this weekend and I am having a wierd issue with it when I take the key out of the ignition. When I turn the key to off, the ignition sounds like it is interupted just for slit second and then the turbo timer takes over the count down... When this happens the ECU is tripping a P0300 code (multiple cyl misfire). The duration is not even long enough to make the engine drop in RPM, you can tell the ignition is interupted with your ear more than anything. Other than that the timer is working properly.

I have the red (const) wire off of the timer harness going to the heavy gauge red wire that is coming out of the harness directly above the accel pedal. The Green wire tapped to the black/red wire on the key harness in the steering column and then the ground to the metal brace for the streering column under the dash. I also have the brown wire tapped to the e-brake...

Has anyone else ever had this problem before? If so how did you fix it?

Thanks!
