Default Stock greddy not boosting to 5(psi)/vacuum question

So I've had the TT running for about two weeks now and I havn't been able to boost past 2.5.

Seeing some other posts on this, I went through and re-checked most of the couplers I can get to right now and everything is super tight (have a few more to check but visually look good).

Looking on the E-01 for boost graph, the ramp is solid on every pull and sits perfect at 2.5 (doesn't jump or lose any pressure until I let off).

Question is:
If I have the wastegate signal coming from the back of the plenum vacuum source (by the throttle body), but the pressure sensor for the E-01 is on the front of the plenum (split there for the BOV). Is it possible that the pressure getting to the TB get's to 5 first and lifts the wastegates but by the time the pressure reader sees the pressure it would already be less than the initial pressure seen at the gates because they have opened? I know it would probably be impossible as the whole intake would have to be at least 5psi in order for the gates to lift, so I should at least see something close to 5 on the sensor.

Wondering if I need to move the pressure sensor to the throttle body vacuum source where everything else is at?

I can't rule out a leak until I get my hands on the last few couplers, but it just seems wierd that I get the same pressure everytime. I don't seem to be having any problems getting boost started and once I get to 2.5psi, it holds steady and I don't see a depressurization or anything that even looks like a leak on the boost pressure graph until shift or off gas.

Hopefully this is just one of those stupid answers where someone can just tell me "duh, you didn't know that...?"

edit: Just remembered that when I first got it running (and before I had the E 01 installed), I had the wastegates vaccum hooked up incorrectly (on the top port instead of bottom) and on my first boost it hit about 7-8 pretty quick at about 75% throttle (thank god I didn't go WOT). Was pretty easy to figure out what I did wrong there, and fixed that quickly. Since moving that vaccum to the bottom port, I havn't seen it go over 2.5. Which makes me question a coupler leak...
