Default How much does it cost to have pistons and rods put in?

IM just curious on what some of you paid or what i should expect to pay to have pistons and rods put in and where you had it done and how much they charge an hour?

Ask the shop how much they charge per hour...then ask them how many hours it will take...multiply the numbers...it should give you a good estimate...

thats the thing they dont know how long its gunna take...they charge 55 an hour

buying turbo this week most likely turbonetics possible aps.....just buying a used kit for now...then im building the motor...im gunna sell the st turbo kit then buy twins most likely

i need more power i had almost a 400awhp evo 8 that i traded in for this car soo....well i had the stuff to do it but i never turned the boost up due to the clutch slipping....because of alky injection....had the clutch and all just sold it all cause i wanted something different

awd is awesome but its not half as fun as rwd

You would be better off buying a built short block IMO if you plan on going big power with twins mayby even sleeved...

i want 500whp-540whp tops i dont want to have to sleeve my motor and everything....

and im good for that power...motor wise correct?

mrc is about 4 hours from me not a big deal definatly worth the drive..ive done it before for my evo so its not a problem at all doing it for this.
