does this look familiar?






its my spare turbo from my aps single kit, from when the turbine wheel got chewed up. well i heard last week that garrett was replacing the gt series center cartridges for 400 if there is only one wheel damaged, and if the cartridge you return can still be used, so i got it exchanged, not bad for 400. turbosdirect did the swap if any of you need it. painted the housing and trimmed off the internal wg bracket. turned out pretty good.

this is probably gonna go on my build 240, i had to order a new turbine housing so it would mount up. maybe i can see what this thing does at 30psi.

TurbosDirect.com in Phoenix was the shop. Scott was the guys name IIRC, i might be wrong tho. I just called them, told them what i wanted, and shipped it to them, they replaced it and shipped it back within a day, cost 426 total. There is a long list of turbos that Garrett is doing this exchange for.

Can the center cartridge be reused even if the current turbine has a little play and touches the outlet?
