Can you not just buy the NTK sensor and splice it into the innovate wideband?

if the FCON is setup to take feedback from the Innovate, then yes, the car will start to run poorly.

Question

I was considering buying this gauge to monitor Wideband A/F. With all the problems documented here, I feel that no one has a firm grasp of the problem. I don't see any type of support announcement from Innovate Motorsports either. Should I avoid buying this unit?

i fixed my problem a while back... after it went "---"
i was stupid to start pressing buttons while i was driving and it stated to calibrate itself while driving..

did an open air calibration to fix that, also had to hook it up to a computer to change the "custom" setting to gasoline..

I know this thread is old but my wideband is working for a little bit and then giving me an e8 error code after i get into it a little. Anyone else have this problem? I don't see why all these units have crapped out

my wideband went out on me, i would get the --.--.--. However the next morning i would start it up, it recalibrated itself. Everything was off by a factor of 10. Stoicimetric was now 4.7 instead of 14.7. It would go to --.--.-- everytime the car is parked outside and it was about 65 degrees or so. Anybody else have that issue?

Mine did that. Recalibrated it and it went back to normal.

Yea, I have had all these problems at one time. About a month ago, we ripped the hole system out and sent it back. Haven't called to see if anything has came from it. But after talking to several people, they'll probably semd it back and say it's working fine and that it was an installed wrong on are part. They just seem to never admit to there own doing or replace the unit.

ok at this point i think as many people as are having problems with these sensors INNOVATE should step up and do something about it. these aren't cheap units either. and none of them sound like they have any ridiculous amount of miles on them

Mine shat out on me yesterday... I've had it for 5 months... I now have a E2 code that flashes non-stop.

Ugh..... and I was thinking how lucky I was after reading this thread 2 days ago.
