Monday night took my car to a show and my wideband was ok. Today I go to crank my car up to pull it around for a wash and the wideband was showing this - - -. Nothing at all. There website said that when this present to check cables. The system is only couple weeks old with only 700 miles on it. What could be wrong.
I did the free air calibration and nothing. Sharif told me some things to do but that didn't work. But I'm still waiting reply from him, for he's a busy guy.

Thanks for calling today...so I guess the suggestions didnt work. Bring it by the shop anytime...we'll fix it...or replace it. There is no reason it should stop working after 3 weeks??

Sorry about hijacking to the OP. But I'm having problems with my Innovate Wideband as well.
Sharif,
We briefly discussed this several weeks ago. When I go wot my a/f is around 10.5-10.9, but as I hit the top of my rpm band it jumps all the way up to 20-30+!! This also happens when I shift gears quickly at wot. No power shifting, just running the car hard.
I tried recalibrating, but no luck. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Does innovate not offer a warranty on their products? I couldn't find any mention of warranty on their website...
I am trying to decide between a DEFI setup vs. Innovate gauge setup.

Is anyone else having issues with their Innovates...in general? Recently, I have seem more and more customers have problems with them.
I'd like to find a somewhat afforadable NTK based sensor, like the FJO units...and test them out. NTK sensors are far more reliable, but they tend to be much more expensive...both the sensor...and the control module.
I'll see if I can dig anything up.

Well, again today I went over all the wires under the car that plug into the LC-1 module. Everything looks good. Even tried to reset it again with no luck.
Innovate claims that when showing --- that the LC-1 is not communicating with the gauge. Meaning that something is unplugged. But I beg to differ on that. There something else, I hope. Sharif will take care of it.

OK, I don't know what's going on now. I went to a friends house and on the way there I decided to do the free air calibration several times and nothing. When I left my buddies house and cranked up the car, it was all of a sudden working again. So I don't know what to think.
So Sharif I'm not going to worry about it now, until next time. From what it feels like, I'm going to need a clutch soon. So hopefully I will order one from you when I come up on the twenty first and when I set up a date for you to install it you could maybe look over the wideband. Thanks for your help so far.

I found some nice NTK wideband units, but the question is....would you guys be willing to pay $500-$700 for a bulletproof NTK wideband? For instance, we have never had an HKS Knock Amp AF sensor or unit go bad....even after months and months of use, and plenty of leaded fuel on my car.
I had the same problem with mine, after about a month of useing it the screen just went blank one day. I drove it home and unpluged all the connections and reconected them. It fixed the problem, with the blank screen, but the sensor went bad from being exposed to the exhaust gases without being heated. I then had to buy a new sensor and recalibrate. After I got the sensor in, some how without me hooking it up to a laptop, the main unit switched the fuel type from gasoline to methenol and I kept getting a ****ed up reading until I bought a serial to usb port and hooked it up to my laptop to find out what was up.

After replacing my sensor, the readings are now correct. My old sensor went bad at around 1000 miles.
Many thanks to Sharif for taking good care of me!
