That JWT torque will be awesome, and there is no way to deal with that but with brute power. Eleven turns, and seven of them are FAST! Just get to Laguna, and try not to smile.

Can't wait Ed!

Would like to strap some Nittos and Hoosiers on the car and enter more than just the Street Class?

The difference between street and DOT-R is just so pronounced.
Ed, Remember they are Street tires. Not race rubber (R-compound). You are used to the Nittos man...LOL...

I am not sure that they would be any better for you than the Yokos. You're right, the G is just a heavy car. Honestly, Ed, if you are happy on the Nittos or Hoosiers, I would skip the street tires, since I think you will just not be happy with ANY street tire.
Ed, would you like to try an experiment? If you'll be at BW on Saturday, lets take one session to do a swap and you can run my Falken's and I'll run your Yokos and we can both see the difference.

I really don't have the room to carry so many sets of tires with me in my tow vehicle though.
Plus there's the extra entry fees for the extra classes. I'm trying to keep my "racing" costs down to "really expensive" as opposed to "exhorbitantly outrageous!"
