Also i am having trouble tightening the passenger side rear turbo bolt. Besides these few problems the kit is done.Any help would be greatly appreciated boost is so close i can taste it hahaha please help

the turbo bolts are really hard to get to in the car, I did mine out so not sure how to tell you to do that. As for the wastegates it is possible but it is a serious pain. I am going to go with the svrtechnologies wastegate relocation kit when I can afford it just to make that job a lot easier. I ended up reaming out the holes on the wastegate a little bit and replaced the studs and nuts with all allen head bolts that way I could use a ball driver attachment on an extension and ratchet. I had one ball driver extension socket that was like 6 inches long and I made another one by cutting a 6mm balldriver down to like 3 inches and putting it in a 6mm socket. What a pain, took me like 4-5 hours to get those wastegates on and now I have to take them back off because I have a little leak.

I was able to get the wastegate nuts onto the studs using a crow's foot. One of the nuts on each wastegate to manifold connection required me to attachedthe crow's foot directly to my 3/8" ratchet. you'll have to play around with the angle. I had to have the crow's foot aimed almost directly back at the shaft of the ratchet. then, you can tighten the nuts.......it is very slow and tediuos, but you can really get it on tight!!!

The passenger side turbo to manifold bolt is tough one. That is the only place I used a bolt instead of a nut/stud combo. anyways, you need to get a "midget" or "shorty" wrench for that one. unfortunately, you can't get alot of torque on it, but you can get it done! just use the force....and be persistant. It is doable. I have done it, phunk has done it many times, and I'm sure a few others have accomplished it.

take off all of the bolts for the front sway bar, then loosen all of the nuts on the front cross member/steering rack. Put a jack under the cross member then unscrew all of the bolts on the rack till the nuts are flush with the studs. DO NOT take the nuts all of the way off, leave a reasonable amount of threads in each stud. Now lower the jack. This will give you alot more room to work inside of the engine bay. That is what we did to install the turbos, wastegates, and downpipes.

Good Luck and dont get to frustated!

It drops the engine about an inch maybe inch and a half, but with a good set of stubby wrenches you can tighten up everything. On the passenger side turbo, we loosened up the v-band and removed the turbo from the exhaust housing then tightened up the exhaust housing to the manifold.

Yea install was preety easy(pulled the motor to do the manifold and turbo install)The wastegates where not an issue either considering i bought SVRT relocation kit. It gets really annoying after awhile. I want to bring my car to an exhaust shop so they can route the pipe back into the exhaust.

If I did another install it would go in this order:

Step 1. Pull motor

Step 2. install turbo kit

Step 3. Reinstall motor

Unfortunally you do not realize this until you get to the wastegate part. Greddy is not givin up to much info, but I bet if they showed better pics of them installing it there would be not front crossmember or rack in the pics.

the wastegates wouldn't be as big of a deal either if you could pull the motor with them attached but they hit the transmission. I'm getting ready to put mine on a lift tomorrow to fix some leaks I have.

If you lowered the motor out of the car instead of pulling it out of the top you can also leave the wastegates on.

ratchet wreched are useless on the wastegates cause the nuts are too close to the wastegate, can't use a closed end wrench. I just redid my wastegates too because of a leak. Found the problem, the gasket had slipped down when we installed it and caused a big gap or air to come out on the turbo side. Should help my car boost better.
