Exclamation My trip to Forged

I left Louisiana for Georgia on Sunday around 6 p.m. I got to the hotel there around 3 a.m. Georgia time. Took a 4 hour powernap and was at Forged for 9:30 the next morning. Sandy and Sharif quickly greeted me and they got to work on the Z. After diagnosing the car, they were able to find that I had some fuel leaks, and went ahead and replaced the lines and got the car safe to work with. FP's technicians were very helpfull as well. After that, it hit the dyno. Shariff tuned it up and was able to make some pretty impressive numbers for a weaksauce procharger. Unsure of the torque number, but I am sure Sharif will chime in with it. The car made right, and I mean right under 400 rwhp on his dyno @ 10 psi, with a nice area under the curve. Max power is at 6k. The car pulls and runs smoothe. Now I just need a LSD Thanks again to Forged, and they are definitely great people to do buisness with. When I am ready for my build, I'll let you know.

Thanks. I ran 12.7 on an open diff before the tune. The car was crazy rich(like in the 9's then nosedived off) Now that it's tuned up, I am going to install a LSD and hit the track again. I will try for 11's.

Thanks Lee, great having you around, and thanks for being patient while we fixed a few unexpected surprises. Here is the dyno chart. This is officially the highest power level we have achieved with a stock block SC...period...on the heart breaker.

No matter how far the drive, the inconvienance is only temporary. The results and power are permanent. The peace of mind alone was worth the 8.5 hour drive. Now I can finally get on to some suspension and cosmetics. Gloss black Gt-s on the way!

It's only 5 hours from where I am at. I am going to the Formula D stop there at Road Atlanta and I will probably stop in and make an appointment. After some thinking I figure I should get the twins installed...
