Default Turbonetics ST and crawford headers

I realize from searching and reading past posts that it is possible to use crawford headers with the turbonetics st kit, but the downpipe has to be modified, but no one seems to actually explain what needs to be done to the downpipe to make it clear the header. so for anyone who has done this combination, what actually needs to be done to the downpipe to make it fit?

Putting the headers in isn't even worth the time or expense. You could see better gains elsewhere.

If you REALY had to do it, you'd have to put a dent in the downpipe but you'd probably still have some sort of contact down there.
