For an out of the box Vortech kit, the SS box is actually pretty darn effective.

I think Sharif's avoiding the question. He just gonna pop up somewhere, without anyone knowing.

Dyno Chart...i rechecked the logs, and it was actually 7psi on the nose.
Not sure where the rumor started, but we have absolutely no plans to open up another locaation...sorry to burst the bubble.

Whatkind of dyno is that? Interesting software. How many data points does it take? Nice power out of that supercharger. 350ish WHP out of 7psi is impressive.

It's the new Windows Digital platform from Dyno Dynamics. It's currently a beta, but we like it a lot. It samples over 100 times per second, but the "dots" are just layed in there, so you can tell the difference between the two plots. If you are plotting some variables that are close to one another, it can be difficult to tell what is what on the graph.

Oh okay. Understandable. It looks nice. I wish they would've kept to the original display style, but I like the 'dots'. When the HP and torque curve cross, I sometimes get confused. I bet its a little bit easier to use. What does a stock VQ35DE non revup usually dyno on ur dyno, for comparison.

Can you put up the torque curve, Im just interestted in it.

At the dyno day...Rev ups and non-rev up were very close in power. Bone stock, they are in the 210-218whp range. We dont use any additional BS correction on our dyno.

Interesting point, is that the "X" factor has been removed from the new software interface, so adding an arbitray correction factor is not possible. The weather station data is also wirelessly fed to the control module as well in real-time...so user error is greatly reduced.

Like the software for the dyno ! You can actually see every time you pull some timing .

Good observation. With 500 rpm tuning increments, there is always a tradeoff. Either we can start pulling timing early in the band, and gradually get to our target near redline, or wait and pull the timing a little more rapidly. Neither way is perfect. Also, our dyno pics up things that you wont see on a DJ, or other dynos....and it all in real-time so we can stop if we see something we dont like.

With the boost I make [ more than most with a Vortech ] I can pull timing and adjust fuel via all boost and have more tuning cells to work with . Then once I hit 16psi I can pull timing via rpm at 500 rpm increments . But because I make well more than 16psi as of now , I pulled a huge amount of timing to keep it safe . One of these days a EMS is in the works...one of these days !
