The numbers that Dave posted are obviously the "low" style DD numbers. 19psi on a dynojet, or with additional DJ corrections, would be well over 600whp.

Nice work guys!
Dear sweet baby Jesus.. did you just say that this would have been at least 600 whp on a DynoJet? On a stock block? I knew that Dyno Dynamics read low.. but wow.

Great job again Dave!

Did you use a fuel return line for this setup?

I think the big thing that was killing a ton of stock/turbo VQ's, is the lack of tuning knowledge/hardware. With race gas, and a good tune, 500whp should not be a problem for the stock short block.

Sorry if this is a question asked over and over again, waht if we are "racing" on the streets and the motor blows.
We will not cover sanctioned racing events or track days or any formal type of racing. What you do with your car on the street is your business.

We used the Function:TUNED Stage .5 Return Fuel System. We were pushing the limits of the .5 system since it still uses the stock fuel rails. After 450RWHP you must upgrade to the fuel return system to ensure reliability.

too bad the only draw back is they do not allow sanctioned racing. how hard is that? I mean with a new turbo car one is desperatly wanting to hit the drags a few time at least to boast how fast their car is.
