And now a SERIOUS reply (lol). One thing you need to consider is how forced induction affects the performance of the car. The way you drive the car will change. I.E. if the boost kicks in at about 3000 RPM you have to consider this in how you approach corners. You DON'T want the boost to kick in while you are entering a corner as this may cause you to spin out. As to the ST vs TT argument I am in the same boat. I have gone back and forth numerous times. Right now I am leaning towards the twins because of the slight price differential and unlimited power potential. I will probably shoot for a moderate set-up somewhere around 400-450 whp @ 7-8 lbs of boost.. I don't want to risk engine failure. Good luck in your search.

the boost will only kick in depending on how far your foot is in the throttle

Yeah you usually don't take corners at WOT so what will happen is the pedal will become extremely sensitive when in the full boost range of rpms. Because of the slight lag in throttle response at 3000 or whatever low rpms, you might give the gas a little more throttle through a corner and that feels good only to find out .2 seconds later the turbos have awakened more and are now giving you what they really can give you and that throws off your handling a little because you have to correct for it

The install price of twins is going to be like twice as much as the single turbo kits. It might take 15 hours for a ST install, but 30, even 40 hours for a TT install depending on the kit and whatever complications - like if it's just easier to just pull the motor out

on a stock block with 9 psi or under, I think the only advantage the TT has over the ST is a slightly quicker spool time and that's about it

lol at Doug's prayer, that was great

^ lol! werd. But dude, for 500-700 difference, even a ST owner will tell you the TT is a no-brainer. It gives you more options in the future.

500-700 difference for the kit, but 1500-2000 extra for the extra labor

there's the reality then. I've never heard of a ST just being 500-700 less than a TT at the end of the install and tune. Otherwise everyone would have TT instead of ST

yeah... kind of like asking yourself:

in any given moment of time (or perhaps for a long time)... would i rather bang a hot single chick or a hot pair of twins? i guess it's a matter of preference regarding satisfaction... however, i know for the fact the latter will yield a bigger smile on my face.

go twins... you will not be disapointed.

Install it your self. It's not that hard. Don't be scared to get your hands dirty.
