Default anything tricky on the turbonetics kit install?

I already know about the ac line.
I recall a post about the fuel tank seal, and not getting gas on it or freezing it possibly, not too sure.

Anything else that i should tell my shop to watch out for.
Thanks in advance.
Freeze.

Tapping the pan. Do it carefully. Aside from that just protect your hands if you can with some gloves. A lot of stuff will cut you up under the car...

I was reading the instructions and it said to drill 2 or 3 3/8 holes on the bottom of the fuel pump housing. Is this the one your talking about and if so why.
Thanks.

Yes thats what he's talking about. The reason he said not to do it is that it eliminates the function of the surge can. While I have never had an issue with it phunk laid out a very detailed reason why not to. Search for it and you'll see it...

Either way it doesnt matter, all too much if you dont run your car under a 1/4 tank of gas the surge function doesnt really affect anything.

I am not going to drill it because its one less thing I need to do. I have been researching this install and kit for over a year now, and am waiting on some final parts, I want to go with a dump off a 38 or 44mm tial wg w/ 9psi spring.

yes wrap the ac lines!!!....the dick who installed my kit did a horrible job and my ac went out...now my car is at the shop getting all 3 ac lines replaced, yes thats right, all 3!!! thats like 400 dollars just in parts! not to mention the 6 hours or so of labor to put them in so this job is costing me like $1000 bucks just to have my ac working again!!

will an AAM oil pan spacer (w/ the pre drilled oil fittings, etc) work instead of tapping into the actual pan itself?

Technically yes but people have had issues with the pan spacer and having oil back up in the return line. I would stick with tapping the upper oil pan.
