Default Can someone explain this for me?

Im having trouble with my APS Single and the internal wastegate......

I was overboosting to 11 or more psi, so I swapped to the Forged Actuator and still the same boost, I then tried to adjust the tension and pull out the spring a little, still more than 10 psi.....

Now heres what I dont understand....

I unplugged the vacuum hose from the actuator and it wont boost more than 4 psi, do i not understand how the actuator works?

when you pulled the vacuum line out, you essentially created a boost leak if you did not tap off that line on top of eliminiting your boost control, so you are now running on spring pressure. people are upgrading to the forge actuator because they can't make boost, not because they are seeing a little too much boost.

To me all it sounded like you needed was a proper tune session to adjust the boost control to whatever boost level you are trying to get to.

Am I not pulling the actuator rod far out enough? I dont understand why the spring isnt compressing to close the valve....The spring is rated at 5-10psi, How far should I pull the rod/spring to make it so I only get 8-9 psi MAX? TIA
