ok little update and a question for those who are familiar with this piece of junk engine management known as emanage blue. Just had to run down the store real quick and it seems in like 4th gear it'll hit 5.4psi by like 3500rpm. Here's the problem though, the car seems slow to rev and won't really rev past 4k as it starts hesitating/bogging. The previous owner had it set up for 9-10psi and blew the motor. I turned the boost down to the low setting. Is the fuel map in the e-01 dependent on boost? Like does it use the same map for low and high boost? Also does it read off of the boost pressure sensor or is it just dependent on rpm? I'm wondering if the car is going really rich and bogging down.

The car made ~500whp on high boost on the tune it has. Obviously, the tune wasn't perfect (or he was just pushing the limits of a stock block), but it should still make boost, especially at min boost.
I would guess that the previous owner kept upping the boost without adding fuel, and that is why the motor went.
The big question now, does the Emanage blue tune on a MAP sensor or strictly RPM?

Park that thing, install a new EMS, and get it retuned before you go ragging on it anymore. He is probably stalling/bogging because of how rich it is running because the boost has been lowered and it's getting to much fuel now.

Yea ditch the EM Blue and get AT LEAST a UTEC... Quite a few vondors here sell them, including the one that has posted in this thread. I am sure he can hook you up.
I along with Quadcam run the UTEC and it works GREAT! I wouldn't use anything less than the UTEC.

evidently no one knows the answer. Obviously I know that I need to get a new management like utec or I wouldn't have called the emanage junk. I'm just trying to learn how this thing works.

The emanage can be tuned off of boost if you connect the signal from the e01 to it or run a pressure sensor to it.
If the guy had it tuned to 9-10 psi that doesn't mean it was tuned at the 5 psi level, you really need to get this thing tuned, also did you hook it up to pull timing as well? not standard on basic kit.

it has a j&s safeguard to pull timing but i know those things are worthless too. Going to try to purchase a wideband for it soon, and hopefully get a utec. It has a pressure sensor that goes to the e-01. I was just curious if the maps change when you change boost settings.

Only way for the boost signal to get to the emanage is if it has a harness connected from the e01 box to the emanage
The J&S is good, I ran for over 2 years with the emanage and J&S at 9-10 psi.

Its kind of hard for someone to diagnose the problem without seeing your car in person. Before you jump to any conclusion, get it dyno'd locally, get a wideband in your car, and see what exactly your car is making, where... It will make it alot easier to determine if you do that.

exactly,......just because the 9-10 psi values are good doens't mean the 5 psi values will also. WOT is the easy part of tuning; part throttle, low boost tuning is the key to a really good, smooth tune.
