How many of you have FI on a G Sedan?
I was wondering, how many of you actually have your G sedans turbo's or supercharged? I think I'v only seen two since I joined the forums and since I'm wanting to build something different it has been running across my mind when deciding on what exactly I want to build. Since I am gonna need back seats now with my new situation I was first planning on the coupe, but now I'm thinking that a sedan with a mild build and some nice suspension upgrades would make for a really fun car.
Looking at the new sedans, are they the same motor as the 2007 Z or are they rev-up? I'v read they are HR..but they dont have the fugly lump hood like Z's?
Damn. Are there just that rare, or is there more work involved with the sedans? I know some say its pointless because of the weight, but I'v also seen stock sedans run great #'s in the past so I don't see the weight being that bad.
I've had nitrous, TN ST, and now a Greddy TT setup on my '05 Revup Sedan.
There are some vortech'd sedans out there, but I have never seen them. I know of one other Greddy TT sedan out in Arizona. Alos, I know of a 2003 or 04 sedan in Homestead, FL with a TN kit on it. Also, there si a guy in CA with a PE TT kit and built motor ( I think he has had several motors, actually.)
As far as the Revup engine goes, I am the only guy I know of who has had a TN ST on a Revup sedan....and possibly the 1st revup G/Z that I had seen on the net with the TN ST, also.
Now, I have the Greddy TT and am very happy with its setup and output. I am running a hybrid setup though.....a Greddy TT basic kit and a SpeedForceRacing dual intercooler/ piping kit.

Also, the weight difference of Sedan with a Z isnt that big (usually ~150 lb), and in some cases (2003 Sedan @ 3336 lb) almost insignificant.
Too bad the Z is getting heavier too; I'd rather have a 3000 lb car with 300 hp than a 3500lb car with 350 hp. Nissan stop!

Well, if you don't do this before the summer ends, you can do one for me. I did some reading around other forums last night and decided this is would indeed make a fun project. Just found out that the girl I'v been seein is preggo so now I need back seats.

yup.....the sedan has always been a few pounds lighter, but most people don't realize that. The coupe just looks sexier, so most assume that it si the faster of the 2.
IIRC, the G35 Sedan is Infiniti's quickest car.
