Default Turbo question

hey guys. one of my friends has a garret 60-1 turbo T3 flange. and he asked if i wanted to buy it.

would i be able to install this turbo on my car? and anyone know if its a good turbo?

you can install it on your car, but it won't be any performance gain for you without a turbo kit

but hes selling it to me for 300 bucks?which is really cheap cuz its a 1,200 turbo new.

but i was just asking if it could be possibly to fit it on there or if it was a good turbo. cuz the price im buying it for can save money u know?

Whats the condition? Is it used? Look at the blades and see if there is any shaft play.

honestly a turbo kit is the way to go unless you can fabricate yourself or can get it done next to nothing and you know what you're doing

dude you need to figure out how much its goint to cost u for piping innercooler ect and weight the option to just getting a kit. just cause you got a turbo dosnt mean jack..

don't buy it....you will only be saving a little compare to the bigger headaches coming ahead when installing it.

save it for a complete kit

says theres absolutley 0 shaft play and its polished...

and it has 4k miles on it. bought december 06

obviously. but my question is like, is - the turbo off a kit alot of money? how much is the turbo for the turbonetics? like around 1,100?

AND

is there any way u can buy the peicing seperate? or do u have to make it urself and what-not? cuz its not like u can just ask for the piping seperatley from a company.
