Default Performance Factory saves you guys money (stock block boosted cars)

after doing tons of research playing around will all the options for fuel delivery. we have decided to say that a return fuel system is not need for a stock block turbo build at all. we have tons of cars running around as of now with ZERO issues with a walbro and larger injectors (650cc for the most part). you will have to buy injectors for any of the builds and all the injector prices are about the same (440,550,650s)

way this works... 650cc injectors are good for 600+ hp all day long IF you are raising the fuel pressure up at a 1:1 ratio. if you leave the stock fuel pressure of 50 psi then 650s are only good to around 450-460 ish which is plenty enough for stock motor builds.

basically you can save 1000 dollars+ for a return fuel system plus no money for install with the added benefit of not causing unnecessary fuel issues with too many new components.

just another way we are trying to provide the BEST, cost worthy ways of making your car faster and reliable..

dont always believe the hype..

Wow, thats a pretty big claim. i'm sure this thread will be heavily debated. I know that the VRT boys have been saying that a return system isnt needed for a while now. Interested to see what some of the other tuners on this site feel about this.

Great info Jeremy!! Now without that extra $1500, I'll be stopping by the shop next week so we can get my TT in the works.

not really debating anything. just saying i have TONS of cars, even built motors on stock fuel system with a walbro.

just trying to help out people who might not have that extra 1000+ on being able to finally get that turbo setup they have wanted..

i spend countless hours on my dyno with all kinds of setups, the ones with stock fuel systems actually never leak, have zero issues to date and work perfectly...

usually the ones trying to debate it are the ones trying to add 1500 more dollars to your outrageous bill i swear, if i didnt have lots of bills, i would do this for free...

I'd have to agree with JT on this. The only reason I bought a return system was that my fuel issue was misdiagnosed ( by a different shop) as a "stock fuel system" issue....it turned out to be a bad walbro pump.

witht the returnsetup, I gained better hot starting and the ability to tweak more things. I have no regreats about buying my CJM Stage 1, but I'd be fine without it at my current power level.

Most tuners will tell you they wish they had more customers like you.

Are you saying you can do 600whp on 650cc injectors and no return setup?

Sorry slick, with the amount of money that i have put into my g(you should see the current build sheet), 1 grand is a drop in the bucket. but, to each his own. not flaming here, just trying to understand. and for the peace of mind it gives me to have a return system, its worth it, IMO. if you wanna go fast all cheap and chit, go get that turbonator thingie.

there is a difference in being cheap and spending money that you dont need to spend. not everyone is a "balla" like you bullitproof

1000 might make or break a 6500 install for someone or might let them get it a few months earlier. again, not debating at all, just sharing what i have learned along the way...

I respect that. btw, were we talking 600whp? the reason i'm asking is because we are doing a built motor with greddy twins and 750cc rc's. i just want to know what horsepower level i should expect before i run out of injector. BAAAAAALLLLLIN!!!!!!!!!!!

go with the 750ccs, its just safer to go with bigger and tune them down. once you max them out, you will have to upgrade...

You should be able to get about 700 out of that size injector... can your motor handle that?

lol, that is exactly what I meant. Most tuners/builders would want people willing to spend the extra 1k for something that is not absolutely neccessary but gives a added layer of security. BTW, I am balla

ok, just as long as you don't refer to me as slick again. Cause then I might go looking for the little button.

We'll find out soon enough. it's a gtm short block with cams. hoping to get it back in a few weeks. i was told by a couple other 'industry' guys that 550-575whp is the most i'll see with the single walbro and 750cc injectors.
