Would the dealer program an ECU that I brought or would they require me to purchase from them? I'm a bit hesitant since my EU is connected to it...not to mention the twins, etc...I would bring my car to the dealer in the first place, but I don't want to pay for a tow and have them pretend to work on it and then say "o, sorry...you have all these mods. we can't help you" and still charge me

I believe that TS can clone your current ECU on to another ECU so that the 2nd ECU can be used in your car. I do not believe they can completely disable the transponder system (I may be wrong on this).

transponder? ie. GPS tracker?
Techno can clone ecus (i.e. copy your immobilzer code, but cant completely disable it. it auto associated itself with the key). i'm not quite sure what transponder system you mean.

Back when I installed car alarms we called all security systems of this type 'transponder's systems, which required the $50 bypass module and a spare key.

In a 'best' case scenario the customer would purchase a new, uncut key to put in the car.
However, to a car thief its not going to make a difference if the key is cut or uncut, as all they really need is the transponder part - the mechanical lock is easy enough to get around.
That is why you hide the box really well, and make it very hard to get to.

Bringing back an old thread sorry.
From my understanding Technosquare can Completely disable the NATS requirement.
I know this is a reach... but is this DIY doable? I'm putting a VQ into a non-Nissan car.. and not having to get a key and reprogrammed once done with the build would be really really helpful. Also with the budget I'm on... doing the full ECU job with Technosquare isn't in the cards right now.
If someone has this info and is worried about a security issue posting it up. Please pm or email me to talk about it and confirm I'm legit. I need the information only for my build.
