I only drive my car over the weekend plus my car don't spend the night in strange places. I think my turbo is not the only one in danger if I do park in those places (Wheels, Sound System, the car it self)
I'm in complete agreement here. If someone wants something in your car, or the car itself, bad enough there is little you can do to stop them from doing what they want to do.

My friend, who lives in Bayside, Queens, had a hooked up M3. He has a VERY long driveway, and a garage at the end of it, and normally locks his M3 in the garage. One night, some insane guy took a towtruck, backed up all the way down his driveway, jacked the M3 out of the garage, and sped out with it damaging everything in the way. A few hours later, the cops called up my friend, saying they found a trashed M3 dumped in the middle of a busy intersection.

Besides, I'd like to see some guy sit around and wait for my pipes and turbo to cool before trying to steal it with their bare hands. That crap gets hot enough to burn your skin off if you don't wait long enough.

well i live in a good area but there are always places that i am going to hat arent so good, my main concern is theres more chances for someone to get away with the parts ont he car than the car itself. Id hate to be the guy driving home wondering why theres no boost lol

I wonder if the car would even be drivable if someone actually managed to take the turbo. At the very least, the oil line would be severed and left open, so unless you were carrying something around with you to pinch the line or seal it, I think starting the car would make all the oil gush out leaving your engine eventually dry.

I'm more concern if someone try to steal my wheels. I think wheels/tires are more expensive than just the turbo itself. plus like I said how many Rear-Mount turbo are there especially for Import? people wont start looking back there unless you put a sign pointing were your Turbo is located.

Ok we got OT again

Edit: I read somewhere that Rear-Mount Turbo are different from Front-Mount and swapping it won't work well. So if someone know about your car having a Rear-Mount Turbo then it is useless to use it as
a Front Mount unit. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm really stating to like this kit. It would be cool to see how it performs with aftermarket test pipes, y-pipe, and mid pipe, all heat wrapped.

That will probably my next step down the road and hopefully they will have an upgrade. I think the supporting parts (Wastegate, Bov and utec) are all capable of handling much higher HP.

Yup, not bad for stock exaust and cats. You may want to get some heat wrap so we can wrap the intake piping to keep the intake temps down a bit.Right now were seeing 41-47 celcius.About what we see on the TN singles..See you at 7:30.

Curious about the size of exhaust piping. and also what kinda turbo are you running that is making that much hp? seeing how many people see a STS set up to be more of a mild hp set up than a high hp setup? with all that said i would love this kit especially the fact that it does not take as long to install.

/\ Do you mean the exhaust tip? if it is then it is 3". This thing is to short coz it's for a 350Z. I'm in desperate mode right now to get an exhaust tip coz it just melted part of my Rear Lip.

I'll write a review down the road after I got the tip issue fix

Oh did Julian said this thing sound GOOD
