for those of you getting rid of your open dumps, if any of you have the svr technologies wastegate relocation kit or something similar for the greddy and are looking to sell them let me know as I am looking to buy them.

Not quite yet. I was tempted to post some pics, but I will wait until they are totally done and ready for sale, before making an announcement.

(see above post) i have seen 35+rwhp increases in the 500-600rwhp range with nothing but adding the w/g relocation kit before any retuning. the original greddy/tial location kills exhaust flow when the w/g opens. it could easily be recirculated if someone had test pipes (or atleast no cats) and could set someone up with everything needed to do so and be a nice smooth transition, but would require custom fitting. really only a pair of 45 degree bends is needed to do it instead of the open dumps.
since most of the responces here are running my dumps (thanks guys) i'm glad to see most all getting a kick from the sound. i personally could not change it because the sound reflection off the car next to you, and the look on the guys face your racing when you pass him is priceless, hahhaa. you really need to be purposely getting into it, especially with an electronic boost controller, to have it open. a manual boost controller will start to open abit sooner though.
if ya dump it at full boost, you create a completely unrestricted path for a portion of the exhaust to go, thus making a smaller exhaust work good at higher rpm's where it otherwise might rob some power.

IMO open dumps arnt my cup of tea. I love engine sounds, dont get me wrong. i think my APS 2.5" exhaust is wayyyyyy to quite.

That said, go open downpipe or recic. Even the F40 open dumps dont impress me. IMO it takes away from vital engine sounds (ie detonation).

I already have the dumps along with some 2.5 inch test pipes. Do you think adding some 3 inch downpipes do my current 3 inch exhaust would show any significant improvements at 15+psi?

I heard somewhere that Tial is working on some Wastegate mufflers so you get the performance of open dump without the noise.
