Default Perfomance Factory's All new "Untouchable" piston line!!

Hey guys, after a lot of research and delevopment and working with Titan Motorsports (King of the Supra) we have released our new piston line!! These pistons will soon be available to the public and orders will be taken very soon. Many years of winning races has brought us to a piston that will take any abuse that we can currently throw at it with the VQ.

These are the same pistons that are used in the 1300 hp supras that are running all around the street. They have been through a lot of pistons to get to the level of piston they use now and being good friends with the owners, well now i can offer the same exact piston made for the VQ. We will be testing the limits of these in my motor when we go for our first unsleeved 800 dynojet whp with my car and a T88 single....

We have four motors being assembled with them right now and the first set is going in my personal motor. It is being finished up at the machine shop as we speak right now....

here are the details,

we decided to go with a 8.8 to 1 compression ratio with a standard .010 over to maintain the most wall thickness in the stock sleeves, they are available in .020 and .040 over, these will be the pistons of the future in the VQ market...

1. Crown Coated
The thermal barrier crown coating is applied to the top of the piston and is designed to reflect heat into the combustion chamber, thereby increasing exhaust gas velocity and greatly improving scavenging potential. The .0015" thick coating can also assist in extending piston life by decreasing the rate of thermal transfer.

2. Skirt Coated
Tuff Skirt is a JE Pistons' trademark coating that is a lubricating, anti-friction / anti-wear coating applied to the piston skirt only. Unlike our standard Skirt Coating, Tuff Skirt will not wear and is designed to withstand many different types of endurance applications, similar to those commonly found in NASCAR. Buildup is .0005" per surface and finished diameter of skirt should include the coating buildup.

3. Pin Fitting:

The pin bore is precision honed to attain an exact pin clearance.
Clearances typically range from .0003 to .0010 between the wrist pin and
pin bore.

4. Double Pin Oilers:

Double Pin Oilers deliver twice the amount of oil to the wrist pin as
compared to the standard single pin oiler. This is always recommended
with high rpm performance engines.

5. Accumulator Groove:

An accumulator groove is machined into the land between the top and
second ring. It provides additional volume where residual combustion
gases that have blow by the top ring can collect. this additional volume
help to reduce pressure between the top and second ring, thus aiding top
ring seal and minimizing ring flutter.

6. Upgraded wrist pins to thick wall.

7. Only come with JE Pro seal rings

very cool Jeremy!!!

can you have extra low compression pistons made? I want to run mondo boost and alot of timing on 93 octane only.

lots of boost = fun lots of timing = not so fun sometimes....

but we will make it nasty with the maximum safe power that we can get for sure!!

Nice hardware. Can you provide some insight how they compare to current offerings (e.g. Arias ED). Other than the obvious compression ratio. 8.8 sounds like you were looking for a happy medium...

I wasn't aware of any problems with the current pistons on the VQ market, but always good to have options! Good luck with the 800hp unsleeved project, I am really interested to see how it turns out. Which T88 are you looking at?

oh, it will wheelie!! thats the whole plan. plus run some easy 9 second slips all day long. turbonetics Y2K T88 for now, we will see how it does!!

more to come soon, not saying that there is a problem with any pistons on the market now, just some new options

well my TH400 will help on a transbrake, can build lots of boost sitting still, plus some nitrous of course...

Why did you opt for a huge single over huge twins? Just to experiment?

seeing jeremys past acts, i would say he is trying to do everything possible, to see what works and what doesnt. to help our 350z community out and expand to new things.
he already had a nice TT setup that ran 10.4 (i think it could have made it into 9s)
he did a nice NA build
lets not forget AJs stock block running 11.03
he is doing a stock block TT g35
and a T88 single is the next in line.

whats next a jet powered Z lol jk

Ohhhh, so this was the big thing you were talking about! Awesome. I get a feeling these are going in a couple motors you're working on right now...
