Yep, you'd probably just pay your shop $1000 to do that for you.

Not worth the risk of getting a fix it ticket especially here in CA & having to remove the kit. It happened to Blublrr & it was a nightmare. Since then I have reinstalled my front plate in an effort to maintain a sleeper look.

You guys all disapoint me. Anyone can cut out a grill, but it takes some real skill to actually trim the intercooler and make it look like it belongs:

The rock damage isn't too bad if you spend a few minutes every so often straigtening. Usually if I'm waiting somewhere for something I'll take a quick second to fix the bad spots.

can you really tell if you have an intercooler if you leave the oem grill on? i've pulled behind some cars and passed them, and at least twice i've gotten "i didnt know u were turbo" as if they missed the intercooler shot..

The easiest way is to cut the bulk of it out wit tin snips or something of the such, then trim all the nubs down with an option of your choice: razor, dremel, cutoff wheel, hack saw blade, etc.

notice the silver trim (weather molding @ pepboys), I used it to accentuate the super rice looking intercooler shot.
